March is Pie and Pudding Month

Yes, you read that correctly - this year we're having a pie and pudding month.  Last year's 'pie week' just seemed too short.

With three great savoury pies and three puddings to complement them, at a bargain £10.95 for a main course or just £13.95 for two, we're running this offer Monday-Friday inclusive, lunch times and evenings.  As ever, the menu is available here.

March's Special Ale

March's guest ale is the ever reliable Brakspear's Special. It's just 4.3% so it's not too heavy. If you've had it before you'll probably be very pleased to hear it's back, if you've not - well, come in and find out why so many people agree that it is 'special'.

Setting The Place Alight

We hope not .. but you never know, as on Shrove Tuesday Peter will be out in 'front of house', providing flambéed pancakes, both traditional and alcohol-fuelled, all day.  Fresh pancakes are a real treat - come and join us on the 4th March.
